This is a passion project, a compilation of my love for history, travel, photography and typography.

The concept is inspired by travels and writings of famous travellers and writers through time. Some notable examples of travellers are Marco Polo, Christopher Columbus, Vasco de Gama, Tenjiku Tokubei, Hyecho, Isabella Lucy Bird including a few fictional books of Sir John Mandeville, Jonathan Swift’ Gulliver’s travels and Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe.

Typography and Style Frames

Combination of Latin and simplified Chinese. Latin typefaces are sans serif, geometric, display and script style with contrast sizing and vertical stacking. Simplified Chinese adds another layer of communication. Chinese is also one of the oldest scripts, and ancient travels were predominantly towards the east on the silk route.
